Crossing into Mexico and on to Marina Puerto Salina
Elysium is currently hibernating in the southern climes of Mexico. Now it is time to wake her up and begin preparations for the trip.

Elysium is a 2004 Catalina 42 sailboat, currently moored in Ballard WA. She is owned and operated by Dan Ohlemacher and Patty Concannon who enjoy sailing in the Puget Sound area, including favorite islands of San Juan.

Elysium was commissioned in July of 2005 by H&S Yachts / Nautical Enterprises in San Diego. During the first few years, Elysium sailed around San Diego Bay and ocassionally on longer trips to the Channel Islands. In the spring of 2009, Dan delivered Elysium up the west coast to the Puget Sound area. Elysium is now moored in fresh water at the Ballard Mill Marina just inside the Hiram M. Chittenden Locks.

Some scholars have loosely translated Elysium to mean Sailing Naked
