Boat Shoes Required. 
If you've got the wrong shoes, be prepared to shed them. Topsiders, sneakers, tennis shoes, flip flops - almost all these will work. The final test is this: Will your shoes damage or scuff the fiberglass?

 

Alcohol
No consumption of alcoholic beverages while underway. Inebriated persons may be denied boarding. Drinking while boating is the number one cause of accidents, and we'll have none of that.

 

Cell Phones
No cell phone operation (including texting) while underway. All cell phones should be turned off except as required for operation of the boat.

 

Docking & Anchoring
Please no unnecessary talking or movement while we are docking or anchoring, except as you are required or requested to assist in these precise maneuvers.

 

Boarding
No one boards the boat without the Skippers permission.
Don't invite your friend without checking first.
It's only common courtesy.

 

Watching for Obstructions
All persons are expected to keep look out for obstacles and other vessels.  When you have spotted a possible obstacle or vessel, please inform the helmsman immediately.

 

Forward Deck
While underway, you may not go to the forward deck without the Skipper's permission. The Skipper will determine what additional safety equipment (PFD, tethers, etc) are required. While underway the forward deck offers the least safety for staying onboard.

 

Seasickness
Seasickness is not permitted aboard Elysium.  Dramamine, ginger ale, ginger snaps will be provided on request.  If you find you are suffering nausea, and the possibility vomiting exists, please inform the Skipper so he may acquaint you with proper procedure.
